The Olympics are underway following the start of the football and softball events in Tokyo.

Both football and softball matches will be played in the two days before the delayed 2020 Olympics officially open on Friday with the opening ceremony.

Overall, 339 gold medals are up for grabs, with plenty more silver and bronze available for athletes finishing in second and third.

For many athletes, just getting to the Olympics is the realisation of years of hard work and dedication to their sport.

Yet a select few will have their eyes on the top prizes, and plenty of athletes will be fulfilling their dreams by standing on the medal podium over the next two weeks.

We have picked out some of the biggest names to be competing in the Tokyo Olympics and want your views on how they will do in Tokyo.
