Coastal Now – MeKenze Kelley Wins USATF U20 Championship
Rising sophomore MeKenze Kelley was crowned the 2022 USA Track & Field U20 Outdoor 400-meters champion on Saturday night in Eugene, Ore., as she took the win with a time of 52.10. She now will represent the USA U20 Team at the 2022 World Athletics U20 Championships, also known as the World Junior Championships, scheduled for Aug. 2-7 in Cali, Colombia.
MeKenze gives credit to Coach Karl Goodman for bringing her to Coastal. Goodman was just promoted to the program’s associate head coach.
